Education

Effective conservation depends on a deep understanding of birds and their environment.    Education and awareness, especially among young people, is fundamental.  That is why Birding Beijing is committed to spreading the word, in particular to children and students, about the incredible birdlife that can be found in the Chinese capital.  In partnership with Eco Action, a Chinese organisation dedicated to promoting the environmental and sustainable development agenda, Birding Beijing helps to design, and participates in, education and awareness programmes for the capital’s schools, universities and general public.

Some information about Birding Beijing’s public engagement is below.  If you work at a school in Beijing and are interested in learning more, please contact Terry on birdingbeijing@gmail.com.
